We want to thank you for making our trip so pleasant .You and your employees took very good care of us.You were able to arrange the trip quickly (we didn’t first contact you until just 3 weeks before our plane left California), and once we were in India, you were always available by phone to answer our questions or make changes if necessary .Your personal pickups and drop offs at the airport are truly appreciated!!

Our drivers were all skilled and extremely prompt and whether we left them waiting for us for many hours as we visited a fort or other attractions, or just a few minutes, they were always watching for us to return, meaning that they remained “On the job” until we told them they would no longer be needed for the day.Guddu, who was with us the longest time, was particularly helpful.after he learned that we were interested in certain types of birds, he pointed out some to us that we otherwise might have missed.And when we were having trouble finding a sewing needle in the shops, he located one for us while he was on his own time, after we had released him for evening.While none of the drivers had an excellect command of English, all of them tried very hard to give us what we wanted and the lack of English fluency was not a big problem. There is always someone around who can translate.

Your two representative who met us along the way were both nice young men.We think it was not necessary for representative to accompany the driver when we were picked up at Bandhavgarh(although we had just then realized that a mistake had been made about our departure date, straightening this out probably could have waited until we had arrived in Khajuraho).
In Agra the stop at a hotel to meet your company’s representative was a welcome one. Thank you. But we were sorry to also see a city guide waiting to give us a tour, because we had no time, and we had requested no guides except for in parks.However, we want to thank you very much for informing someone by the name of Singh that we were coming to Bharatpur—He is the uncle of very good bird guide at Keoladeo,Deepak Singh who was waiting for us and made our short time there very productive.

The hotels were all fine-each had something to recommend it.We have already told you about these, but I will repeat some of it here.Hotel Desert Wind in Bikaner was very comfortable.The Ken River Lodge is a little run down but is an excellent place for birdwatchers because of the bird guide there and the location-the park is very interesting and much more relaxed than the tiger Zoo parks(Bandhavgarh and Ranthambore).Hotel Meera Mahal in Jaisalmer was good for us(as bird watcher) because the staff is interested in birds and can arrange birding by Jeep.Regular tourist, however will probably prefer Mandir Palace Hotel, a real palace in the hreat of the city below the fort. The hotel in Sultanpur, which would be a nice place to stay in order to get into the park early for the best wildlife viewing.

To sum up, we are very happy with the services that you provided, and we will heartily recommend you to our friends , associates, fellow birdwatchers and anyone else who expresses an interest in visiting India.

Concluding our 18 days trip to India ,we would like to thank you for a well organized and smoothly operated journey. Hotels were good, the car was reliable and the driver Bablu was skilled, polite and helpful.

I am safe home

Sorry for not letting you know yesterday about my landing, my computer at home did not work so I had to wait until today for my computer at work.
You can not imagin how good I felt to be back home.I had quite an experience with both of you and let me tell you again that you are very good men very special human beings and I thank God for sending you to me.
I gave you name and telephon to our Israeli counsul in Delhi, Mrs.Irit Shneor telling her about the great services you gave , she was very happy to hear and I am sure she will recomand you service to others.

We thank you very much for very well organized tour to India.Our driver was special.The sightseeing was wonderfull.We loved all places.guide did also a very good job explaining the history and answering the questions.Teh best hotel was in Agra.Your country has great potential for tourism development.There could be more events during the night to added to make it more colorful.

Subject: India wild life safari by SP Holidays

General: Because we booked our trip through internet with an Indian travel agency.We were not sure what to expect. The trip fulfilled all our expectations even exceeded someaspects.the trip was well organized and all items in the trip description were fulfilled.

Transport: the car was very good, the driver was excellent.He saved many lives of people and animals on the road. And we could understand each other very well. He helped us with minral water and could find toilets acceptable for us.

The Hotels: Most of the hotels were very good, some hotels needed some loadup on equipment.As an example Sariska Palace.People were friendly but clothing needed stitching and washing.Some hotels did not accept credit card for payment of drinks.Ramganga resort far from entrance park(45 min drive)

The Meals: We had to get useed to Indian food.In the beginning everything tasted stron and spicy, but after several days , we were used to it. Food was everywhere plentiful and tasted good.

The Park: The park were beautiful and we saw a lot of Indian wildlife even the very rare swamp deer.For the bird sanctuary in Bharatpur, we were in the wrong time of the year we chosen the dates.So it was to blame to us.All parks were different.Above all it was a good experience..

The Guides: The local guides were good.and their knowledge level was very good. Some how we could end up see everything in the programme.

Train / Plane Transport: Train transportation was good. May be the total travel time by train is too short for all troubles. Flight to Delhi was good.

Conclusion: Our trip was good. We did have wonderfull weeks in India.We saw wildlife, cities and Indian traffic by road.We have visited a local village and how people lived. We will certainly recommend this trip to other friends back home.

You have certainly got comments from our driver Anil about our journey through Rajasthan …how nice my wife is…and what a “big crazy” tourist-photographer I am !!
In SP holidays, nobody believed one second that we would go through my circuit and visit program within one month but we achieved it and went to almost everything I expected to see, without racing!! So we are very happy about our holidays in Rajasthan.

During the first days, Anil had to understand what was really interesting to us, because this type of holidays he had never done before. Almost all tourist go from big town to big town and visit only the “most remarkable” sites where they are “dropped out” of bus:12 days and a few hotel-palaces later they are back home and they think they have seen and well known Rajasthan.

For my wife and myself, everything is wonderful…sometimes little “forgotten” temples, even half ruined have exceptional carvings, but nobody knows anymore..even the local touroperators!!The every day life in the little villages is the most interesting to us and meet the local population is so exquisite.We have not been in the tourist shops or in tourist restaurants for lunch, but we have bought fruits and drinks in little shops or in the street market, and we have taken lunch in little local restaurants where we have sometimes made our soup ourselves, all Indians around looking astonished to us.(Every time we have had lunch together with Anil, I have payed his lunch to..the total bill was most time Rs.150/- for three of us sometimes)

Driver was perfect every evening in finding little hotels, around Rs.1000/- and he is an excellent driver.Which is compulsory(a lot of Rajasthan drivers are crazy dangerous!!! Much more than in Orissa where we went in January 2006) and he “saved our lives” a few times.Every morning the car was correctly cleaned outside and inside, and his politeness was perfect.Only 2 times in one whole month, he was a little bit nervous about my demand to go back visiting a site we visited already(I wanted a better light for some photographies) and he went phoning to you to ask “permission” to do what I wanted.(I gave him a fair tip I think when he left us at the airport on November 12).The car was in good shape

Orissa Indians and Rajasthan Indians are all very kind. In Orissa however, there are few tourists and we could stroll without being disturbed.In Rajasthan, because of the many tourists, sometimes even not knowing “the value of money” and giving very high tip everywhere, the locals are more “aggressive” and this is a pitty.

As you can see ,I am very pleased of this tour organized by SP Holidays.So if I once come back to India, I will contact you and I will give SP Holidays as reference if somebody ask me for tour operator reference in India.Infact I already did:in Bundi I gave your data to an Australian tourist who was disappointed by his tour operator and wanted another one for his next trip to India.

Hotel in Jaipur : It was a good hotel(Holiday Inn) with very good services.Nice to have stay here.It was Diwali so it was busy but our driver Omprakash made life easy for us.

Pushkar:Hotel here in Pushkar was very nice .It was clean and with good views of Pushkar lake.we recommend the camel ride and the camel fair.it was excellent.

Delhi: It was good to be here.Very good hotel.

It was well organized trip by SP Holidays.We would certainly recommend as a tour operator to India back home.
