DAY 01 : ARRIVE DEHRADUN - CHAKRATA (90 KM 3 HRS)
Today drive to Chakrata. Upon arrival, check-in at your pre-booked hotel. Evening sightseeing and free at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 02 : CHAKRATA SIGHTSEEING
Today after breakfast, go for a sightseeing tour of Chakrata. Main attractions of the areas include Tiger Falls: Tiger falls is the main attraction in Chakrata - 20 km and 1kms trek from the road. Chakrata Tiger waterfall is the highest (height of about 312ft.) waterfall in Uttarakhand. Deoban: Deoban is a beautiful dense forest covered with Deodar trees, situated 12 km from Chakrata, where you can see the captivating and eye feasting views of the Himalayan range. Ram Tall Horticulture Garden (12 km): A beautiful natural pond, variety of flora and fauna, worth seen sceneries, and apple garden making it an ideal picnic spot. Chirmiri(3 km): Chirmiri Neck is the highest peak in Chakrata, surrounded by lush green deodar forests. Tourists can enjoy the magnificent view of the Himalayan Range. Chinta Haran Mahadev (3 km): Chinta Haran Mahadev is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, which is 3 km from town Chakrata. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 03 : CHAKRATA - HARSIL (255 KM 9 HRS )
Morning drive to Harsil, which falls en route Gangotri, Harsil is covered in dense Oak and Deodar Forests and is a place where nature greets with a warm embrace. Upon arrival, check-in at your pre-booked hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 04 : HARSIL
Today after breakfast, go sightseeing. Harsil is an ideal place with high historical importance and offers options for adventurous activities like trekking for the adventure buffs. The picturesque view of the Bhagirathi River serves as an idyllic location of this town. You can go to see Mukhwas Village: At a distance of 1 km, tourists can visit Mukhwas village, which is considered one of the tourist destinations in Harsil of Uttarakhand. Mukhwas village is the residence of Goddess Gangotri in the months of winters. Dharali: Dharali is a pretty and colorful destination around 3-kilo meters away from the town of Harsil. Motorable roads are easily accessible to Dharali etc. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 05 : HARSIL - GANGOTRI - HARSIL
Today visit Gangotri temple, which is one of the most important Hindu religious places in India. It is only 22 km from the town of Harsil. The River Ganga was brought down from the mountains at Gangotri in the upper Himalayas and placed at 'Mukhba' village. Gangotri is a significant place from a religious point of view as it has a strong historical past and bears the eternal feel of antiquity. After Dharshana, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 06 : HARSIL - RISHIKESH (245 KM 8 HRS)
After breakfast, drive to Rishikesh. Upon arrival, check-in at your pre-booked hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 07 : RISHIKESH RIVER RAFTING
Morning river rafting and afternoon sightseeing tour of Rishikesh visiting Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Swarg Ashram, in the evening, go to see evening Aarti at Triveni Ghat. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 08 : RISHIKESH - DEHRADUN DROP
The morning after breakfast, departure transfer to Dehradun Airport to board flight for onward journey.
