Char Dham Yatra resumes and all 4 temples reopen from 18th September 2021 with Guidelines/SOPs
Government of Uttarakhand has announced that Char Dham Yatra would start from September 18, 2021 with Covid19 SOPs/Guidelines.
It said only
800 devotees would be allowed at Kedarnath Dham,
1,000 at Badrinath Dham,
600 at Gangotri, and
400 devotees at Yamunotri Dham in a day.
Devotees will not be able to take bath in any of the 'Kund'. The government has issued a new SOPs for the devotees.
Following the rules of Covid-19, the Government has ordered a mandatory Covid-19 negative report and double vaccination certificate for devotees.
“The pilgrims from anywhere who want to visit Char Dham will have to register themselves on the website of Char Dham Devasthanam Management Board (https://badrinath-kedarnath.gov.in/) where a sub-link will be provided for the same after the state government issues the SOPs. Also, they will have to bring a negative Covid-19 report with them or a certificate of having received both the doses of Covid-19 vaccination,”
