DAY 01:JAMMU - KATRA - VISHNO DEVI - KATRA
You arrive in Jammu, and upon arrival, you will be met by company's representative. You will then drive to Katra, which is a town located at the base of the Trikuta Mountains, where the Vaishno Devi temple is situated. After arriving in Katra, you will proceed to visit the Mata Vaishno Devi temple for darshan (religious visit/prayer) to seek the blessings of the deity. In the evening, you'll return to your hotel in Katra for an overnight stay.
DAY 02: KATRA - PAHALGAM 275 KMS
On Day 2, after an early breakfast at your hotel in Katra, you will begin your journey to Pahalgam. The drive from Katra to Pahalgam is approximately 275 kilometers. On arrival in Pahalgam, you will check in at a hotel to freshen up and relax. In the afternoon, you will go for a sightseeing tour in and around Pahalgam, exploring the scenic beauty of the place. After the sightseeing tour, you will return to your hotel in Pahalgam for an overnight stay.
DAY 03: PAHALGAM - SRINAGR 145 KMS
On Day 3, in the morning, you will have the opportunity to explore more of Pahalgam before departing for Srinagar. After spending some time in Pahalgam, you will drive back to Srinagar, which is around 145 kilometers away. Upon arrival in Srinagar, you will check in at a deluxe houseboat. Houseboats are a unique experience in Srinagar as they are floating accommodations on the beautiful Dal Lake or Nigeen Lake. You will spend the night on the houseboat, enjoying the serene surroundings of the lake. This itinerary provides a brief but enjoyable experience of both the religious and natural attractions of the region. Mata Vaishno Devi temple is one of the holiest shrines in Hinduism, attracting millions of devotees each year. Pahalgam is known for its scenic beauty, and Srinagar offers the charm of houseboats and the picturesque landscapes of the Kashmir Valley. Keep in mind that travel times and distances mentioned are approximate and can vary based on actual conditions and routes taken during the journey.
DAY 04: SRINAGAR - LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Morning Boat Ride by (shikara) to explore the Dal - lake, waterways, backwaters, canals, Floating Gardens, Vegetable\ Gardens, Water Lillies, Lotus, Easily accessible Mobile Venders, Floating handicraft centres & inherited lifestyle of people living inside the Lake since decades. Return back to Deluxe houseboat/hotel for lunch.
Afternoon Visit to famous Mughal Gardens Cheshma Shahi, Nishat, Shalimar collectivily known as Mughal Gardens are contribution of the great Mughals laidout in the 16th century & these fall along the bank of Dal - lake in the heart of Srinagar city & Shankrachariya Temple located on a hillock , thus providing panaromic view of entire city, along the famous Dal - lake & river Jehlum, enroute visiting handloom centres famous for production of Pashmina / Shahtoos shawls & world over reckoned carpets, evening return back to Dlx. Houseboat / hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
DAY 05: SRINAGAR - GULMARG - SRINAGAR (112 KMS.)
On Day 5 of the itinerary, after breakfast at the deluxe houseboat or hotel in Srinagar, you will embark on a full-day excursion to Gulmarg. Gulmarg is a famous hill station and skiing destination located around 112 kilometers away from Srinagar. The journey from Srinagar to Gulmarg takes you through picturesque landscapes of the Kashmir Valley, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and meadows. You will spend the day exploring Gulmarg, which is known for its breathtaking beauty, lush greenery, and the Gulmarg Gondola, one of the highest cable cars in the world. The pack lunch will be provided during your excursion, so you can enjoy your meal amidst the scenic surroundings. In the evening, you will return to your deluxe houseboat or hotel in Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 06: SRINAGAR - SONAMARG - SRINAGAR (174 KMS.)
On Day 6 of the itinerary, after having breakfast at the deluxe houseboat or hotel in Srinagar, you will set out on a full-day excursion to Sonamarg. Sonamarg is located about 87 kilometers north-east of Srinagar and sits at an altitude of 3000 meters above sea level. The journey from Srinagar to Sonamarg is a scenic drive through dense forests and majestic mountains, offering incredible natural beauty throughout the route. Sonamarg is renowned for its picturesque landscapes, making it a popular destination for tourists seeking serene surroundings and outdoor activities. The place is particularly favored by mountaineers and rock climbers, and it also serves as an essential stopover on the way to Kargil and Ladakh. For trekking enthusiasts, Sonamarg serves as an ideal base for various trekking routes, leading to high mountain lakes, glaciers, and the revered Shri Amarnath Ji Holy Cave. During your excursion, you will be provided with a pack lunch, allowing you to enjoy your meal amidst the scenic beauty of Sonamarg. In the evening, you will return to your deluxe houseboat or hotel in Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 07: LEAVE SRINAGAR
Departure transfer to the Airport to board flight for onward Journey.
