In the 13th century, The Golkonda Fort was built by the Kakatiya kings, and The city was home to one of the powerful Muslim sultanates in the region and was the center of the flourishing diamond trade.

Nagarjunakonda:

is a historical Buddhist town. It is situated 150 km southeast of the capital, Hyderabad. Nagarjunakonda is associated with the famous Buddhist scholar of the 2nd century, Nagarjuna. It was an important Buddhist monastic institution with stupas and sculptures depicting scenes from the life of Buddha.

Warangal:

Warangal is situated 148 kilometers away from Hyderabad. Important Places Warangal Fort, Thousand Pillared Temple, Ramappa Temple, and Pakhal Lake.

Vijayawada :

Vijayawada is situated around 275 km away from Hyderabad. Important Places of Interest is Prakasham Barrage, Kanaka Durga temple, Gandhi Hill, Mogalarajapuram.
