From an ancient city of knowledge to a localized market - city to Northeast India's trade hub, Guwahati
is the Gateway to an exotic and least explored region situated on the southern bank of an expansive river Brahmaputra, Guwahati is one of India's fastest growing metropolises. Kaziranga National park lies just off National Highway 37 between Guwahati and Jorhat.It can be easily accessed by road from either of these. It covers an area of 430 square kilometers, bodered by the mighty Brahmaputra river in the north. The Ideal season for visiting the park is an unusually short three month, though it is open from healthy population of other animal.
