Baga Beach, Goa

Baga is the northern end of the long Coastline. Baga itself is divided in two, by the lovely Baga river. Together with Calangute, they are the most happening places in Goa.There are more shacks, more bars and more guesthouses per sq km here than anywhere else in the state.There is something for every budget by way of eateries and accommodation.You can walk here for over an hour and still cover a short distance as you will be tempted by stalls, shops, bars and other attractions. The Baga River flows down from one side offering a pleasant diversion for children and those who love the water but can't risk the rip currents that swirl round the mouth. Where the river and the sea meet, and on the far right bank, tourists at Baga beach will see a group of black rocks against which the sea crashes.
