Pokhara , At 200 kms from the capital of the country, Kathmandu , Pokhra is situated at an altitude of 900 meters in the valley of Nepal . The beauty of Pokhra is that it is surrounded by mountains and offers magnificent views of Manaslu, Dhaulagiri , Machhapuchhre and any other mountains.

This small little enchanting city is one of the most sought after destinations of Nepal . Famous for its beautiful lake, Fewa is also famous with the adventurous, for trekking and rafting. Pokhra is surrounded by natural beauty, with the Himalayan ranges and the gushing rivers with thick forests and the tranquility, peace and serenity, which surrounds it. Pokhra is the land of the Gorkhas, the tough soldiers.The Barahi Temple built in the middle of the lake can be approached by a boat.

This temple dedicated to the boar manifestation of Ajima the reigning deity representing the female force Shakti, is the one of the most important monuments of Pokhra .

The Gandaki River that runs through the city is another natural wonder that attracts tourists. This boisterous river runs through the city but at times it flows under the ground and is not to be seen. This natural wonder surely attracts everyone.
