How to register for Char DhamYatra in 2023?
Attention Travelers,
To make your travel experience to Chardham and Hemkund Sahib yatra smooth and hassle-free, please take note of the following important points:
• Tourist registration is mandatory for the yatra, and there is no fee involved in the process.
• You must carry a valid personal ID proof with you during the yatra.
• There are two modes of registration available for your convenience:
a). Online registration through the official web portal
b). Tourist Care Uttarakhand mobile application (available on Android and iOS)
Varification Process :
The verification process is done only physically at the shrine being visited through scanning the QR code in the mobile app or downloaded Yatra registration letter.

It is mandatory for every pilgrim who desires to undertake this sacred pilgrimage to complete the registration process before commencing the Yatra. To obtain the biometric registration document, pilgrims can avail themselves of a straightforward six-step process, which is designed for their convenience. We request all the devotees to register at the earliest to ensure a smooth and hassle-free pilgrimage.
1. Go on to the web-link https://registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in
2. you must first create an account on the official website of Uttarakhand Tourism Department.
3. After creating an account, you will need to login to the website with your username and password to register.
4. Fill up the registration form.
5. Submit the form with required documents.
6. Download an e-copy of the registration certificate.
List of documents required for Char Dham Yatra:
Passengers please note that you must have the following documents for registration of journey and you will have to show these documents to the concerned officer or police officer when asked at the time of checking in the journey.
01 : Passenger's Aadhaar Card / Driving License / PAN Card / Voter ID Card for Passenger Identification.
02 : Passenger's corona test report or vaccination certificate.
NOTE
For Commercial / Private vehicle, Green Card/ Trip Chart Permit from Transport department Uttarakhand is compulsory. (https://greencard.uk.gov.in)
