The Union Territory of the Andaman and Nicobars is an archipelago of 572 islands in the Bay of Bengal,1200 km from the mainland.It stretches for more than 700 kms.from north to south but only 36 islands are inhabited.As on most equatorial islands, it rains for nearly 8 months of the year.Ocean breezes also ensure that, though temperatures range from 23 - 30 degrees, it is generally pleasant.The Andaman group consists of the North,Middle,south,little Andamans and Richies Archipelogo, besides many smaller islands.The Nicobar group comprises of the Great Nicobar, Little Nicobar,, Car Nicobar,Nancowry,, Katchal and Chowra.Port Blair on South Andaman island is the capital and entry point to the islands.Howeven,only a few of the islands are open to visitors and outsiders are not encouraged to visit the Nicobar group.

DAY - 01

On arrival at Port Blair in the morning by flight, you will be received and transfer to your hotel. Then start for a tour of places in and around Port Blair - covering the Cellular Jail, Chatham Saw Mill (one of the oldest and largest in Asia), Mini Zoo, Anthropological Museum, Fisheries Museum, Science Centre, Naval Marine Museum and Cottage Industries Emporium. In the evening attend the enthralling Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail, where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive.

DAY - 02

Early morning departure by road from Port Blair to Baratang which is about 110 kms. By road. The travel involves crossing of creeks and dense forest. Reach Baratang and sight seeing to Mud Volcano & Lime stone cave. Then proceed to Rangat which is about 70 kms by road from Baratang. Reach Rangat and sight seeing to Humkunj beach, Cutbert Bay Beach, Panchavati. Overnight stay at Rangat.

DAY - 03

Early morning departure by car from Rangat to Mayabunder which is about 70 kms by road. Reach Mayabunder and sight seeing to Karmatang beach. Optional trip to Avis Island. Overnight stay at Mayabunder.

DAY - 04

Return from Mayabunder and check in to your hotel at Port Blair.

DAY - 05

Early morning departure by inter - island ferry to Havelock Island (54 Kms by sea from Port Blair). In the afternoon hours sight seeing to Beach No. 7 (Radha Nagar) which is rated as Asia’s beautiful beach by Times Magazine. Overnight stay at Havelock Island.

DAY - 06

Return from Havelock Island and check in to your hotel in Port Blair.

DAY - 07

In the morning start for a full DAY tour by boat to visit Ross Island from where Britisher’s governed the entire Andaman and Nicobar Island, prior to India’s Independence. Then visit to North Bay Island (Coral Island) a ideal spot for coral viewing by glass bottom boat (Optional activity : Snorkeling). Afterwards a leisurely cruise (Harbour Cruise) along the Port Blair Harbour - which takes one to Viper Island. The gallows atop of a hill rock here is sight to watch.

DAY - 08

At appropriate time you will be transfer to Airport to reach you home destination.
