DAY 01 : ARRIVE CALICUT
Upon arrival in Calicut, transferred to your pre-booked Hotel. After freshen up, proceed for the city tour. Which offers the visit to the beautiful beaches, amazing countryside, and is set with Wayanad hills on the east and the Arabian Sea on the west? Later visit Kappad beach, this beach has got its name engraved in Indian history as Vasco Da Gama, the Portuguese explorer, had put his first steps on Indian soil at this place. Spend overnight at Hotel.
DAY 02 : CALICUT
Today excursion to Bypore which is about 10 km south of Kozhikode town at the mouth of the Chaliyar River, is Beypore Today we will visit Bayport home to Asia's biggest wood market and traditional wooden ship making industry. The craftsmen have been making these Marakalam's in Beypore since the 18th Century. Return to Calicut for overnight stay.
DAY 03 : CALICUT - MAHE ( BY ROAD)
On arrival transfer to a heritage bungalow located on the Arabian Sea. In the afternoon visit the fort and mosque. Overnight stay at the bungalow.
DAY 04 : MAHE
Today after breakfast, proceed to a full day sightseeing tour of Mahe including the visits of the colonial center of "the world's smallest capital", Victoria, the court buildings, museum, post office, and the clock-tower (twin of the one outside London's Victoria Station). A walk across Albert Street leads you to the focal point of the town, its colorful market where stalls of fresh fish, tropical fruits & vegetables, herbs & spices, are displayed in an abundance of fragrances. Later drive across the Sans Soucis mountain pass, with a photo stop at the historical Mission Lodge, en-route to a Creole restaurant for lunch (included). After lunch, the city tour continues around the southern tip of the island to the restored colonial plantation of 'Jardin du Roi', which is steeped in the short history of the Creoles as well as the Georges family, whose family tree carries a link to Louis XVII of France. Traditional dance center to witness 'Thayum' and 'Kalari Pati'. Overnight stay at the bungalow.
DAY 05 : MAHE - WYANAD ( BY ROAD)
After breakfast drive towards Wayanad. Upon arrival, check-in to the pre-booked resort. After freshen up, go out to visit places like Vythiri, Kalpetta, Lakkidi, Banasura dam, and Soochipara Falls. Later in the day explore the Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary on an elephant safari. Overnight stay at the Resort.
DAY 06 : WYANAD
After breakfast, visit the nearby tribal village and tribal museum. After lunch takes a 4-km trek to an awe-inspiring ancient cave, providing an insight into the rich Indian civilization. Overnight stay in Resort.
DAY 07 : WAYANAD - CHERUTHURUTHY ( BY ROAD)
After breakfast, drive to get to the Cheruthuruthy. Cheruthuruthy is extremely popular due to its amazing Eco gardens and lush green environment. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Then proceed to visit the distinguished school for Kathakali and erstwhile original drama of Kerala. Later in the day experience the River Retreat in Cheruthuruthy that is extremely popular all over the globe due to its incredible spa massages, Ayurvedic treatment, yoga training, detoxification programs, weight reduction programs, and insomnia treatment. DAY 08 : CHERUTHURUTHY - COCHIN( BY ROAD)
After breakfast drive to Cochin. Upon arrival, check-in at your pre-booked hotel. After freshen up, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Cochin including the visit of the Fort Cochin - the area where you will get to see the mixture of Portuguese, Dutch, Chinese culture. A small population of Jews still resides there. Later go out to see the famous Mattancherry Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets, and Saint Francis Church. Get to see the oldest synagogue in the Commonwealth. Walkthrough the busy spice markets in the Jewtown area. In the evening watch Kathakali dance performance. Overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY 09 : COCHIN – ALLEPPEY(BY DRIVE) - HOUSEBOAT
After breakfast drive to Alleppey to get to the embarkation point to board the Houseboat. Enjoy a memorable trip to the fantastic houseboats. Travel through the coconut fringed canals. Relaxing your mind and body as nature envelops you. Here you are a welcome observer of traditional activities of the local people. Watch them sow seeds in the soil, give green grass to their animals alongside the backwaters. DAY 10 : HOUSEBOAT - KOVALAM ( BY ROAD)
After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and drive to Kovalam. Upon arrival in Kovalam, check-in at your pre-booked hotel. Overnight stay at Beach Resort.
DAY 11 : KOVALAM
Day free at your leisure or relaxation on the beaches of Kovalam Overnight stay at a beach resort. .
DAY 12 : LEAVE KOVALAM
Transferred to Trivandrum airport to board flight for onward Journey.
