DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI
Upon arrival in Delhi. You are met and transferred to your pre-booked hotel.After wash n change, after noon sightseeing tour ofNew Delhi: Qutab Minar , Humayun Tomb , India Gate, Parliament street etc.Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 02: DELHI
After breakfast leave for city tour of old Delhi Visting Jama Masjid , Red fort and Chandni chowk etc . afternoon leisure & free for shopping, etc. overnight at Hotel.
DAY 03:DELHI -AGRA -DELHI (200 kms)
Early morning drive towards Agra, Upon arrival you are met and introduction of Guide. Later go to see Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur sikiri.
Visiting Taj Mahal: The eighth wonder of the world, is the mausoleum of the Mumtaz Mahal and also one of the great architectural marvels in the world. An ideal epitome of love and dedication, the Taj Mahal was built by the fifth Mughal Emperor, Shahjahan in 1630 after the death of his beloved Mumtaz Mahal while delivering the child. It is quite unique as it is the only shrine in the world that has created a hallmark in the whole world. Taj Mahal leaves the tourists coming to Agra spellbound. In 1612, the marriage of Shahjahan and Mumtaz Mahal took place. She conceived fourteen children and while giving birth to the fifteenth child she took her last breath. By the hard labour of twenty thousand workers, the Taj Mahal was built in 22 years.
The Red Fort in Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna making itself quite dominant in the whole area. It was designed and built by Akbar in 1565.A.D., the Agra Fort is fortified by a 70-foot high wall. Within the precincts of Agra Red Fort is the beautiful Pearl Mosque and numerous palaces including the Jahangiri Mahal, Diwan-i-Am, Moti Masjid and Diwan-i-Khas. The fort is safeguarded by four gates and is enclosed by a double barricaded wall of red sandstone.
Later proceed towards Fatehpursikri an excursion site.Situated 40 km from Agra, the city of Fatehpur Sikri is an imperial city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar between 1571 and 1584. The srchitectural grandeur of this deserted city cannot be described in words and one can only experience the aura of its magnificent edifices by seeing them. If you are looking for something that symbolizes the grandeur of the Mughals, Fatehpur Sikri is a must-see during your Taj Mahal tour in Agra. Later come back to Delhi for an overnight stay.Overnight at Hotel in Delhi.
DAY 04:DELHI - SRINAGAR (BY FLIGHT)
Reception and assistance on arrival and transfer to houseboats., enjoy Shikhara ride on Dal Lake and visit to floating/ vegetable gardens, Nehru Place, Char Chinar etc. Dinner and overnight stay at houseboat.
DAY 05:SRINAGAR - LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Morning check out and transferred to the hotel.later local sightseeing of Srinagar: After early breakfast leave by coach to see the famous Mughal Gardens, Shalimar Gardens and the Cheshma Shahi (The Royal Spring) built by Shah Jahan in 1636 AD, Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure) laid out by Jahangir for his beloved Noor Jahan in 1632 AD. Round off the trip with a visit to the Oriental Kashmir Carpet factory. After a brief rest, leave by car for half day sightseeing of Srinagar City visiting the Hari Parbat Fort, Jama Masjid (the Great Mosque built in 1313 AD) the old bazaar on the banks of the Jhelum and the Shah Hamdan Shrine. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY 06:SRINAGAR - GULMARG -SRINAGAR (52 kms 03 hrs )
After breakfast leave for full day trip to Gulmarg (The Meadow of Flowers) at 2730 meters above sea level and which is one of the best ski slopes in the world. Gulmarg is also home to one of the highest 18 hole golf courses in the world and offers a splendid view of the Nanga Parbat Peak (the fifth highest mountain of the world) There is also a option for a short trip upto Khilanmarg by the Gandola cable car. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel .
DAY 07:SRINAGAR - SONAMARG -SRINAGAR (84 kms 04 hrs )
After breakfast for full day excursion(with pack lunch)to Sonamarg 87 kms. From Srinagar in the north - east of Srinagar at an altitude of 3000 mts.above sea level. The place offers incredible scenic beauty(while driving to Sonamarg) dense forests, Gigantic mountains.The place itself is a popular resort for mountaineers, rock climbers, besides an important halt on the way to Kargil(Ladakh)& provides the ideal base for various trekking routes, high mountain lakes, Glaciers & Shri Amarnath Ji Holy cave. Evening return back to hotel for Dinner & overnight stay.
DAY 08: SRINAGAR - PAHELGAM - SRINAGAR (95 kms 04 hrs)
Morning after breakfast at your deluxe House Boat you will be driven for Same Day Trip to the Valley of Shepherds- Pahalgam, situated at 2,130 meters above sea level enroute visit the saffron fields of Pampore and enjoy the beautiful country side. Drive through the pine forest. On arrival enjoy the Horse ride along the pony trails to see magnificent view of the mountains. English Speaking Guide will be along. Hot lunch will be served at local restaurant (can also be carried from the respective Houseboat). Return back to Srinagar by evening. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY 09:SRINAGAR - DELHI
Morning departure transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi.
