DAY 01: ARRIVE COCHIN
Upon arrival at Cochin ( Kochi ) you are met and transferred to pre-booked hotel. Afternoon half day city tour of Cochin. Visiting Chinese fishing nets along the Vasco Da Gama Square, Santa Cruz Basilica, St. Francis Church, VOC Gate, Bastion Bungalow , Jewish synagogue etc. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 02 : COCHIN - ATHIRAPPALLY BY ROAD 78 KMS 2 HOURS DRIVE
Morning after breakfast, drive to Athirappally Waterfalls is located 78 km from Kochi (Cochin), located at the entrance to Sholayar ranges. This waterfall is a popular picnic spot. Affording to the onlookers, one of the most bewitching sights. Athirappally Falls is about 80 feet high and located in the forest area. Combined with the greenery, it infuses freshness into any tired soul. The Athirapally falls join the Chalakkudy river after plummeting a drop of 80 feet. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon visit waterfalls and surrounding Areas. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 03 : ATHIRAPPALLY - MUNNAR BY ROAD 180 KMS 4 HOURS DRIVE
After breakfast drive to Munnar enjoying scenic beauty and the marvelous waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. In the evening you can go for sight seeing of Munnar which includes the Raja Malai - a top peak of Munnar where you can see Neel Thar (mountain goats). Overnight at hotel
DAY 04 : MUNNAR - ANAMUDI - MUNNAR
Morning after breakfast, visiting tea plantations, Anamudi, Eravikulam National Park, Devikulam, Mattupetty, Pallivasal, Pothamedu, Attukal etc. Rest of day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 05 : MUNNAR - PERIYAR 110 KMS 3 HOURS DRIVE
After breakfast drive to Periyar on the way visiting Idukki dam. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Periyar wildlife sanctuary is home to nomadic tribes of wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more. Evening go for boat cruise in the lake to watch wild animals. Overnight at hotel .
DAY 06 : PERIYAR - KUMARAKOM 130 KMS 4 HOURS DRIVE
This morning after breakfast visit Spice Plantation and local marktes etc. Later get ready for your drive to Kumarakom. The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands and this small water world is part of the Kuttanad region. A picturesque, clean village, Kumarakom is a tiny hamlet on the banks of a lagoon formed by the Vembanad lake. Check in to your resort where calm, emerald backwaters reflect hundreds of thousands of gently swaying palms where the primary attraction however, is its lazy ambience. Afternoon visit the villages, the Bird Sanctuary, the Country Boat Cruise etc. Overnight at Resort .
DAY 07 : KUMARAKOM - HOUSE BOAT
After breakfast, transfer to the houseboat Embarkation point. The Kerala houseboats used to form an inseparable ingredient of the way of life in Kerala, this traditional boat is locally called as Kettuvallom. Check in to the exclusive houseboat. Your private boat will be facilitated with bed rooms, bath rooms, living area, sun deck, dining and beautiful corridor. This full day cruise will include all your meals and an overnight stay on board. A Journey through the curving and winding Kerala backwaters in houseboats of Kerala is an experience of returning to nature. Full day cruise and over night stay onboard. The boat will be anchored in the lake for overnight stay.
DAY 08 : HOUSEBOAT - KOVALAM 190 KMS 5 HOURS DRIVE
Morning disembark houseboat at Alleppey and drive to Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach of Kerala with three adjacent crescent beaches. Kovalam has been a favorite haunt of tourists especially Europeans since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes, Catamaran cruising etc. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 09 : KOVALAM
Day free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 10 : KOVALAM - TRIVANDRUM 13 KMS
Today transfer to Airport to board flight back Home .
