DAY 01 : ARRIVE DELHI

Upon arrival at International Airport, you are met and transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Afternoon half-day tour of New Delhi visiting Qutab Minar: Qutab Minar is a tall conical 73 mt high (240 feet) tower built by Qutab-ud-din-Aibak in 1192 as a victory tower after the defeat of Delhi's last Hindu Kingdom. With a diameter of 14.32 mt at the base and about 2.75 mt on top.Humayun Tomb: The Humayun's tomb declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1993. It was the first garden-tomb in India. The tomb of Humayun commissioned by his eldest wife widow Bega Begam (Haiji Begum) in 1569, 14 years after his death, located in New Delhi. A Persian architect Mirak Mirza Ghiyath was employed by Haiji Begam to design this architectural wonder. India Gate: It is known as an All India War Memorial. The foundation stone of India Gate was laid by His Royal Highness, the Duke of Connaught in 1921. Edwin Lutyens designed it. It commemorates 82,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who lost their lives in the First World War from 1914 to 21 and the Third Anglo-Afgan War. More than 13500 names of Indian and British soldiers' are inscribed on the wall of India Gate. Lotus Temple: The Lotus Temple is a Bahai House of Worship located in New Delhi, completed in 1986. The building is famous for its lotus flowerlike shape that is one of the prime attractions of New Delhi. The Lotus Temple is open to all, regardless of religion. The visitors marvel at its universal design in the form of a lotus. It delights by the Teachings of the Bahai Faith, especially its belief of the Oneness of God, the Oneness of Religions, and the Oneness of Mankind. etc. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 02 : DELHI

Morning half day city tour of Old Delhi visiting Jama Masjid: It is a highly decorative mosque with a courtyard with a capacity of holding 25,000 faithful at one time. It has three gates, four towers, and two 40 mt high minarets built in red sandstone and white marble. On the floor, a total of 899 black borders are there for worshippers. Red Fort: The Red Fort got its name from the enclosing walls of red sandstone. The architect Ustad Ahmed Lahori supervised it, who also constructed the Taj Mahal. Red Fort is a UNESCO world heritage site located in Delhi, built by Mughal emperor Shahjahan, who also built the Taj Mahal in Agra. After shifting his capital from Agra to Delhi and Chandni chowk: Presently, Chandini Chowk is famous for its markets offering pure Indian food, delicacies, and profoundly Sarees with chikan & Zari work. The area is a hub of wholesalers for books, clothing, shoes and leather goods, and electronic goods. It has narrow, hives of lanes and by-lanes through the whole market. It is worth visiting the Chandini Chowk market when you are here in Delhi etc. Afternoon leisure and free for shopping etc. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 03 : DELHI - SAMODE - JAIPUR BY ROAD 260 KMS 6 HRS DRIVE

Morning drive to Jaipur, which is known as the pink city of Rajasthan via, Samode villages. The Jaipur city is popularly known as the Pink city, built in 1727 AD by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Designed by Shilp Shastra - an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture - Jaipur follows a grid system. Upon arrival, check-in at your pre-booked hotel. DAY 04 : JAIPUR

Morning visit Amber Fort: The Amber Fort is a popular tourist spot in Rajasthan. Known for its beautiful architecture, the combination of white marble and red sandstone makes the fort’s architecture exceptionally distinct built by Maharaja Man Singh in the 16th century. Amber Fort represents a blend between Hindu and Muslim architectures. The Amber Fort is situated on a hilltop and exhibits a rugged yet magnificent exterior. Tourists usually ride on an elephant to reach the fort. Within the complex are other beautiful architectures like the Sheesh Mahal, Sukh Niwas, Diwan-e Aam, Diwan-e Khas, and many temples. Afternoon visit Hawa Mahal: The Palace of winds - a five-storied structure of pink sandstone has semi-octagonal and delicately honeycombed windows overlooking the main street of the old city. It was constructed that enabled the ladies of the royal household to watch everyday life, City Palace and Museum. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 05 : JAIPUR - BHARATPUR - FATEHPUR SIKIRI - AGRA ( BY ROAD 232 KMS 5 HRS

After breakfast, drive towards Agra, which is 232 km away and 5 hrs morning drive. En-route visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is home to a world-renowned bird sanctuary. It is also known as the Keoladeo Ghana national park. Thousands of bird lovers visit the bird sanctuary. You can spot here birds like Shoveler, Cotton teal, Little cormorant, Great cormorant, Painted stork, Gadwall, Tufted duck, Comb duck, Indian shag, Ruffcommon teal and Peregrine, Short-toed eagle, Tawny eagle, Imperial eagle, Osprey, Pallas, sea eagle respectively. Later visit Fatehpur Sikri (The ghost city): Also known as 'abandoned city' situated 40 km from Agra. The Mughal Emperor Akbar built Fatehpur Sikri in 1570 in honor of Sufi saint Shaikh Salim Chisti. It took 15 years for Emperor to complete the structure, but he had to leave the city due to lack of water and also the proximity to the Rajput province. The city of Fatehpur Sikri is an imperial city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Continue to drive to Agra after the sightseeing tour of Fatehpur Sikri. Upon arrival in Agra, check-in at your hotel. DAY 06 : AGRA

Full day city tour of Agra visiting Taj Mahal: The UNESCO world heritage site, One of the Seven Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal is located on the bank of river Yamuna, regarded one of the most beautiful buildings in the world. The construction of the Taj Mahal started in 1631, and it was over in 1653. Around 20,000 workers had been labored for 22 years by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to complete the Marble wonder. You can see the precious and semi-precious stones in intricate marble work at the Taj Mahal. Grieving Shah Jehan built the mausoleum in memory of his young wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Agra Fort: Mughal Emperor Akabar built this majestic Fort between 1565 to 1573. The Agra Fort is on the west bank of the river Yamuna and northwest of the famous monument Taj Mahal. It is a build of red sandstone. Agra fort built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 and initially known as a walled city. Mughal emperor Shah Jahan said to have deposed and restrained by his son Aurangzeb in the Fort, where he spent the last eight years of his life, looking at Taj. Agra fort is known for its magnificent rampart and incredible architecture etc. Overnight stay at Hotel.


DAY 07 : AGRA - VARANASI ( BY FLIGHT )

Today we take a short flight to the Varanasi. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to the pre-booked hotel. In the afternoon, proceed to the village of Sarnath on the outskirts of town. Sarnath: It was in this Deer Park that the Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Visit the Park and Museum. The emperor Ashoka made Sarnath a center of Buddhist worship in the 3rd century BC. We will visit the Main Shrine and Ashoka's Pillar. In the Archaeological Museum, we will see the beautifully carved capital from the pillar, along with many other priceless Buddhist artifacts. The highlight of this tour would be a participation in the evening Aarti ( prayer service) at the main Buddhist temple here. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 08 : VARANASI

Varanasi: formerly known as Benares, is the city where the Hindu faithful come to bathe in the sacred waters of the Ganges. Early this morning, get ready for a dawn boat ride on the river Ganges. The Ganges is the most sacred and venerated river in India. Besides the ritualistic aspect of Hinduism ( thread ceremony, head shaving food to the departed souls, etc.), also see the bathing. The laundry and cremation of the dead that takes place here on the banks of the river.
After the boat ride, walk through the beautiful narrow twisting lanes of the city to watch the performance of various Hindu rituals by the pilgrims.

After the boat trip on the Ganges, we return to the hotel. After breakfast, we will proceed on a city tour. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 09 : VARANASI - DELHI ( BY FLIGHT )

Morning free. Afternoon transfer to airport to connect flight for Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 10 : LEAVE DELHI


To airport in time to catch the flight for onward destination.
