DAY 01 : ARRIVE COCHIN
Arrival at Kochi Airport and transferred to your pre-booked Hotel. Afternoon enjoys a cruise on the backwaters to see the Chinese fishing nets. Visit the Fishmarket, this place is famous for fishes caught by the Chinese nets. If you like you can select from the fresh catch of the time and taste it prepared in different styles. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 02 : COCHIN
Morning Sightseeing of Old Kochi. The colonial influence of Kochi becomes evident when we visit the Jewish Synagogue, built-in 1567, housing the Grand Scrolls of the Old Testament and the Dutch Palace, with its 17th-century murals of the Ramayana. We also visit St Francis' Church, where Vasco da Gama, the voyager who rediscovered India for Europe (Columbus having failed) was first buried. This evening we attend a Kathakali performance, a traditional dance of Kerala or Kalarippayattu, traditional martial art of Kerala. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 03 : COCHIN - PERIYAR SANCTUARY BY ROAD
After breakfast, drive to Periyar. The areas passing through are picturesque and will be a treat to the eyes. Reach Periyar, The pride of Kerala and a testimony to nature's splendor. The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is situated on the banks of the Periyar Lake. Upon arrival check into your pre-booked Hotel. Rest of the day enjoy nature. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 04 : PERIYAR - GAVI BY ROAD
Morning boating at Periyar Lake. After this Jeep will be arranged to drive to Gavi, A New forest Destination. After we enter the forest the roof of the jeep will be opened to see wildlife. All through the ride, you can watch animals on both sides of the track from this open jeep. Reach Gavi and overnight at Hotel
DAY 05 : GAVI
Trekking starts from Gavi located in the middle of the evergreen forest. Cross the lake and proceed to Meena. This will take around 4 to 5 hours. Tent pitching and camp overnight. Guides and porters will follow you all along the trek. Overnight at Tent.
DAY 06 : GAVI - VAGAMON BY ROAD
Trek starts from Meenar camp and proceeds towards Chenthamara Kokka passing through Sholas typical grasslands of the Western Ghats of Kerala. Then drive back to Vandiperiyar by Jeep (2 hrs drive) and from there car will take you Vagamon (2 hrs drive). Check-in at Resort. Overnight at Resort
DAY 07 : VAGAMON
Engage in different activities like Spice plantation visit, bathing in mountain streams, visit nearby ashram (meditation center), bird and butterfly watching, etc. Overnight at Resort.
DAY 08 : VAGAMON - ALAPPUZHA - HOUSEBOAT
Morning drive to Pallathuruthy to Board House Boat. After having lunch on the traditional rice boat or “Kettuvollam”. Enjoy your sail through the picturesque backwaters constituted by a meandering network of lakes, canals, lagoons, rivers et al. Take pleasure in a tranquil flow of time with beautiful sceneries spread across by the interesting complement of land and water. Full day and night at houseboat. Overnight on board. Overnight at HouseBoat.
DAY 09 : HOUSEBOAT - COCHIN - KOVALAM BY ROAD
Disembark houseboat and drive to Kovalam for beach holidays. Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach of Kerala, with three adjacent crescent beaches. Kovalam has been a favorite haunt of tourists, especially Europeans, since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse - sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programs, Catamaran cruising, etc. Overnight at Resort.
DAY 10 : KOVALAM
Day at leisure. Overnight at a beach resort.
DAY 11 : KOVALAM - TRIVANDRUM DEPARTURE
Transferred to Trivandrum airport to board flight for onward Journey.
