TOUR ITINERARY


DAY 01 : ARRIVE INDORE – MANDU (97 KM / 2 HRS 30 MINUTES)

Upon your arrival in Indore, our representative will meet you and accompany you on a 2-hour 30-minute drive (97 km) to Mandu. Once we reach Mandu, we will check-in at the hotel and freshen up. After a brief rest, we will start exploring the beautiful historical sites of Mandu. Our sightseeing in Mandu will include visits to:

Jahaz Mahal: A majestic palace resembling a ship floating on water, built during the reign of Ghiyas-ud-din Khilji.

Hindola Mahal: Also known as the "Swing Palace," it's an impressive sloping palace with a unique architectural design.

Roopmati Pavilion: A picturesque pavilion offering stunning views of the Narmada Valley and the nearby Baz Bahadur's Palace.

Baz Bahadur's Palace: An enchanting palace known for its grand courtyards and beautiful architectural features.

DAY 02 : MANDU – MAHESHWAR (38 KM / 01 HR DRIVE) - OMKARESHWAR ( 66 KM / 01 HR 30 MINUTES)

After breakfast, we will drive to Maheshwar, which is just 38 km away and takes around 1 hour to reach. In Maheshwar, we will visit some of the prominent attractions, including:

Holkar Fort: A magnificent fort with historical significance and impressive architecture, situated on the banks of the Narmada River.

Narmada Ghat: The ghats of the Narmada River offer a serene and spiritual ambiance, perfect for a peaceful evening stroll.

Jaleshwar Temple: A revered temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located close to the Narmada River.

Maheshwar Temple: An ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, known for its intricate carvings and religious importance.

Later, we will head to Omkareshwar, located at a distance of 66 km, which will take approximately 1 hour 30 minutes to reach. In Omkareshwar, we will visit the sacred Jyotirlinga Temple and enjoy the tranquil beauty of the Narmada River.

DAY 03 : MAHESHWAR – UJJAIN (157 KM / 04 HRS DRIVE)

After breakfast, we will drive to Ujjain, covering a distance of 157 km in around 4 hours. Upon arrival in Ujjain, we will embark on a comprehensive sightseeing tour, visiting:

Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple: One of the twelve Jyotirlingas, dedicated to Lord Shiva, known for its religious significance and striking architecture.

Sandipani Ashram: A revered ashram associated with Lord Krishna's childhood days and an important pilgrimage site for devotees.

Iskcon Temple: A prominent Hare Krishna temple, beautifully constructed with intricate carvings and spiritual ambiance.

Harsiddhi Temple: A significant temple dedicated to Goddess Harsiddhi, boasting exquisite architecture and spiritual energy.

Ram Ghat: A sacred bathing ghat on the Shipra River, ideal for a peaceful evening visit.

In the evening, you can also participate in the famous "Bhasma Aarti" at the Mahakaleshwar Temple (subject to availability).

DAY 04 : UJJAIN – BHIMBETKA (236 KM / 05 HRS DRIVE) - SANCHI ( 97 KM / 02 HRS DRIVE)

After an early breakfast, we'll start our journey towards Bhimbetka, located approximately 236 km away, which will take around 5 hours. At Bhimbetka, we will explore the ancient rock shelters, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, showcasing prehistoric cave paintings and fascinating archaeological significance.

From there, we will proceed to Sanchi, covering a distance of approximately 97 km in around 2 hours. If time permits, we will visit the famous Sanchi Stupa, a remarkable Buddhist monument and an architectural marvel.

DAY 05 : SANCHI – CHANDERI (168 KM / 04 HRS DRIVE) - KHAJURAHO (225 KM / 04 HRS 30 MIN DRIVE)

After breakfast, we'll continue our trip to Khajuraho via Chanderi. The drive from Sanchi to Chanderi covers approximately 168 km and takes around 4 hours. Upon reaching Chanderi, we'll explore the Chanderi Fort, known for its historical significance and panoramic views of the town.

Later, we will proceed to Khajuraho, which is approximately 225 km away, and the journey takes around 4 hours 30 minutes. Upon arriving in Khajuraho, we'll check-in at the hotel and relax.

DAY 06 : KHAJURAHO - ORCHHA (171 KM / 03 HRS DRIVE) - JHANSI (20 KM )

After breakfast, we will visit the famous Eastern and Western Group of Temples in Khajuraho, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning and intricately carved temples, depicting various aspects of human life and emotions through art.

Subsequently, we will drive to Orchha, located approximately 171 km away, and it takes around 3 hours to reach. In Orchha, we'll explore the beautiful Orchha Fort Complex, Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, Chaturbhuj Temple, and more.

In the evening, we will drive to Jhansi, which is only 20 km away.

DAY 07 : JHANSI – GWALIOR (102 KM / 02 HRS DRIVE)

After breakfast, we'll head to Gwalior, covering a distance of approximately 102 km in around 2 hours. Upon arriving in Gwalior, we will embark on a sightseeing tour, including visits to:

Gwalior Fort: One of the most imposing and historically significant forts in India, known for its grand architecture and stunning views.

Gurjari Mahal: An exquisite palace, now converted into an archaeological museum, showcasing a diverse collection of artifacts.

Sun Temple: A beautiful temple dedicated to the Sun God, adorned with intricate carvings and surrounded by serene gardens.
