Coonoor

Perched at the height of 1850 meters above sea level at the head of the Hulikal Ravine, Coonoor is the second largest hill station located in the Nilgiri hills. Located in the western part of the state of Tamilnadu, it is hardly 20 km away from the world-famous hill station of Ooty.

This small tea garden town of the southern state of Tamilnadu is fast becoming one of the major hill stations of the south. Its proximity to the nearby Nilgiri Hills and its location in the Deodatta range has blessed this place with soothing weather, helping the beautiful green meadows and the wonderful Rhodendrons to grow.
