As promised, we’re sending an overview of our Mumbai / Kerala voyage.
Friday 10/02 :
Pick-up at airport hotel +transfer to Trident.
The pickup was punctual on time; nice car-SUV type with high comfortable seats. Careful driver with good knowledge of English. Check-in Trident and complimentary lunch-snacks with non-alcoholic drinks.
Afternoon : Elefanta caves-visit : Lady-guide with extensive knowledge of history and Hindou-religion and excellent English.
Trident hotel: beautiful situation; excellent service and nice room on the upper floor for 1st night. However, because of the wedding season, a lot of festivities were going on JUST above us till 02:00 am and we had to change to a less nice but quiet room on a lower floor ! Beds were excellent !
Saturday 11/02 Mumbai visit: a NEW female guide. Very good knowledge of EVERYTHING in Mumbai. Excellent English; same good car and driver; nice lunch at our costs.
NOTE : we should have stayed 1 more day for SHOPPING !!
Sunday12/02 : transfer to airport : on time , same car + driver. Flight to Kochi.
Kochi: pickup and transfer to Vivanta. Toyota car less comfortable and LESS NEW( has 100;000 km on meter !!! ) than the car in Mumbai.
Excellent and friendly chauffeur Mr. Bidju who spoke reasonable English.
Vivanta: fast check-in IN our room !! Beautiful hotel and room with harbor sight. In the evening performance of Kerala-dances.
Monday 13/02: sightseeing tour ( ½ day ) of Kochi: Mr. Shevin was our guide, good English, showed all the main sights, and knew well his subject.
After lunch in town, return the hotel and rest. At 5 pm complimentary tea time in the garden followed by free 1-hour boat-tour.
Tuesday 14/02: Check out and car-trip to Alleppey for boat check-in at noon. Beginning of cruise and fishmarket stop followed by lunch. The first impression was nice

We would like to give you some feedback on our holiday.
We would like to thank you for all your organization. We had a lovely holiday and that was largely down to the work that you did. It was, of course, very disappointing not to have our luggage for the first day and a half and we did regret losing two or three hours going back to the airport to pick up our bags. I don’t think that Jet Airways were particularly helpful but we couldn’t have managed without your assistance.
Gokalum Park was very comfortable and the food was very good. The only issue there was that it was impossible to go for a short walk in the evening due to the location and the works going on. It was great to go up to Munnar and the Silver Tips. That was also a great choice although the evening meal on the first night was the only disappointing meal that we had on all our holiday. We went into Munnar town to eat the second night and would recommend that to other guests.
Treetops at Thekaddy were another step up and the Christmas Eve buffet and entertainment were a highlight. The houseboat was a memorable experience and two nights at Cocobay rounded the first week off nicely. Again, the food here was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly, as they were everywhere we stayed.
Vythiri Resort was outstanding. The setting was terrific and, again, all the staff was friendly and helpful and the food was good. We probably wouldn’t recommend the safari trip but we did see a lot of wildlife in the area thanks mainly to our driver
We thought that Sree was a very good driver and although the Indian roads were a new experience for us we never felt concerned. We were disappointed that his command of English wasn’t a bit better and that he couldn’t tell us much about the country that we were driving through. Shafeez (?), who took us from Cocobay to Calicut was also a very good driver and he was both friendly and a fantastic help at the station for us. Shafeer, who I think Vythiri organized for us, was the perfect choice for looking for wildlife up in Wayanad. We saw more with him than we did on the organized wildlife safari. We have to say that our final driver, Sunil, who took us back to the airport was the best of all. He was not only a good driver but kept us informed with lots of interesting information during the short time we spent with him. We would have no hesitation in recommending his services.
We would be very happy to use your services again if we were to plan another trip to India and we would have no hesitation in recommending your Company.

This is our short testimonial for our recent trip.
From the time we four landed at Ahmedabad on 10 Sep 2016 to the time we boarded a flight at Indore on 13 Sep everything went well. Thanks for making it again to happen for us Dharshan of 3 jyotirlingas Somnath, Mahakaleshwar, and Omkareshwar. Arrangements done by SP holidays were nice and went as planned. The highlight was Niskkalank Mahadev at Koliyak which was added at the last minute. Hotels at Somnath, Ahmedabad, and Omkareshwar were good. With the mention of SP holidays, everything was taken care of at hotels. Our mind was just on Dharshan without any worry about travel or stay.

I should start by saying that Gopan was an excellent driver. We felt very comfortable with him around and he took efforts to ensure that our needs were met. He suggested how we could plan our itinerary and took the imitative to find out new attractions or cheaper alternatives. He also gave nuggets of information on the various places we visited. The trip as a whole was good. We enjoyed all the places we went to. We especially loved Munnar and hope to visit it again one day.

Hi Sunil,
Thanks for the wonderful arrangement for me along with two friends. You were willing to listen to me when I suggested many options and quote accordingly for every option. The entire trip is around 2000km which is tough and tiring. We were received by a tour manager with a placard with my name holding outside Mumbai airport. The hotels were very good at the Bhimashankar jungle resort. Shirdi, Aurangabad, and Nasik. In Triambakeshwar and Parli we wanted to stay near the temple and happy with the lodges chosen according to our request. The driver Raj was good and always ensured that we were traveling in the right direction by enquiring at junctions. We loved that approach. He was accommodative of our requests for stops and dynamic change of plans. With the calm mentally of driver we were at peace.
Half a day on start and on end day Mumbai trip was fantastic. Covered Temples, India Gate, CST terminus and other main places.
This is our second trip with you after our first in north India in 2013. Once again SP holidays proved their professionalism with a personal touch for arranging the tours. We will be back to you for any of our travels in India and recommend to our friends also.

my journey is ending, first of all, I would like to thank you for having given us the very good driver, he did a great job and was very very helpful, he gave us the most charming full attention.
To follow the itinerary we had some bad roads and
for the driver, it was really difficult to come in and out from the very deep wholes on the roads, as I said he drove very very well! The road was good from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer and from there to Barmer, good also from Jodhpur to Pali and Jaipur area, but the rest hard!
All the hotels were good, some very good like Ranwas and Suryagarh! Not good, I would say bad, was Mansing palace and Alsisar haveli. This last one my fault, I did not think that when one makes long hard drives, one needs an international comfort and doesn't care about the heritage
atmosphere if I would have known, I would have
taken the Sheraton as per your first suggestion. In any case, the Alsisar is dirty, dusty and the staff does not care about the guests! Very bad! The Sanchal fort in Barmer was also a simple hotel, but the staff was so
charming and helpful that they made my stay nice although the simple surrounding!
I do not know if I meet you in Dehli, in any case, thank you for your assistance as usual.

Here is our feed-back for a 3 weeks tour in Rajasthan with your company. Our name are Pauline Rigaud & Laurent Blanchard. Devraj drove us.
1. Dev is perfect as a driver. We can feel that he has the experience, respect, and friendship for his guests! So it was a pleasure to be with him. Really. He is always happy. Everyday. And he saved my health. I'm very slim. I had lost kilos before our trip to India. And in India, I've lost 4 kg. So I was 53 kg unlike normally I'm 60. I was sick because of bad papaya eaten in Jaisalmer. Sick for 5 days. And I felt better only because of Dev: he bought me Glucon-D! After that, I've taken my forces back. So he bought 4 packs!!! So nice to him to take care of us.
2. Some hotels were very good with surprises:
Haveli in Mandawa because of the architecture and paintings
The Palace in Bikaner because of the immensity of the building
Hotel Holiday Inn in Jaipur -- because of the bedsheets, so soft and because I was sick so I slept a lot. That's why I enjoyed it! The restaurant was very good and the waiters we're worried about my health. Was nice of them. They manage meals as I wish. Only steamed vegetables or ratatouille with steam rice. Or no spicy clear soup!
Hotel Taj Vilas in Agra-- because of the room and the restaurant! Very very good restaurant. And there was a discount all the time: -25%! Perfect!
3. Mr. Pradeep, you were available on Whatsapp all the time. So was good to know we could have help and support if we needed it. And he trusted us all the time. Good that he waited for us at the airport as the first meeting. And good to see him at the end of the tour.

I would like to say that we were very happy with your service. Firstly, it's very important to have good communication between us and our suppliers (ie. quick replies to emails). You always reply very quickly to our emails and that is great!
Secondly, our tour in Agra also went very very well. The guide was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He was able to explain the history of the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort. He also arrived on time and was very professional. He didn't rush us and gave us free time to look around. The minivan was in very good condition as well.
The car from Agra to Sawai Madhopur was also really good and the driver was very friendly and professional.
The tour in Jaipur was the same. The car came extremely punctual, and the guide was again very very good. Just like in Agra, he was friendly, he was helpful, he was knowledgeable. For both tours in Agra and Jaipur, I really cannot fault the tour in any way.
In other words, we are very happy with your service.

There was a lot to do after I am back from the holiday and that is the delay sending you a few lines. First, our driver cum guide Umesh was a nice person with good driving skills.Kept his car clean and was attentive to our needs. He manages at least four languages. But as a guide, he was short of local knowledge in some cases. And we never pursued him to take us many places as most of the times he has to drive long distances just to go from one hotel to the other.
All hotels were as per our expectation, except at Thekkady. One more thing about hotels, most hotels did not have a driver's accommodation.
Overall I would say you have delivered as promised and I am happy about it, as the whole tour has gone smoothly.

I have been to India before but this was something different and eventful. I must confess that this was the greatest trip I have ever enjoyed. I had booked a north India trip with SP holidays for my family & friends and appreciate their professionalism. We have traveled to many places but in Manali, we truly saw paradise. SP holidays did a superb job organizing city tour for more than 30 people along with really small kids in all places, especially mentioning Varanasi. We have traveled for more than two weeks in India but seeing Taj Mahal and Manali are the top of my list and worth every single penny spent to do so.

We have used SP Holidays for our trip Delhi - Agra - Delhi. The trip was the most memorable of our many trips to many parts of the world. Their professional, personal attention paid to us throughout our trip. SP Holidays provided us with excellent accommodations, competent and very human drivers, and good food. Mr. Sunil at SP Holidays took a great care in arranging and communicating throught out the trip and their driver Mr. Devraj is also very kind and down to earth. Without them the trip wouldn't be a great success.
Due to some personal reasons, we couldn't complete the entire trip, and Sunil compensated by providing the taxi to drop us at the Delhi airport the next day and did not charge any amount.
The driver was very prompt and dot on time. I would use their services whenever I visit Delhi and also recommend them. The car was always kept clean and tidy. Sunil is very humble and understands what the customer wants.

The trip was very well organized and tailored to the available time. The choice of monuments to visit in the time available has been very good. There was not a lot of time to enjoy the facilities of the hotels, but the trip has not been exhausting. The coordination was superb; we never had to wait for the arrival of the vehicle or a guide. The hotels have been very good. Regarding hotels, the Delhi hotel is the most austere of them, it had few amenities, but the room was very good.
The neighborhood was quiet and behind the hotel, there is an outdoor mall with nice shops. The Hotel Wyndham of Agra is wonderful. The guides have been very polite. Their Spanish knowledge is good enough to guide someone during the visit to the sites. I would like to underline the approach of Mr. Devra´j, our driver. I think you have great value with this employee.
When people arrive in India, the circulation seems chaotic; several days later you realize that it is not chaos, but the rules are different. However, from the first moment there, with Mr. Devra´j you feel safe and secure. This is not only due to his preventive driving, but also because he is quiet and prudent and never takes a risk. Besides, to avoid any kind of inconvenience or problem, Mr. Devra´j was always taking care of us and our comfort. To sum, he had outstanding behavior.
The Chokhi Dhani resort deserves to be enjoyed with some local (from India) person (the guide?) that explains the different meals during the Rajasthani dinner, the activities ..., in this way, it will be possible to appreciate better the ethnical Rajsthani style. The restaurant of Delhi, the last night, was charming. We enjoyed the trip and, without any kind of doubt, we advise you to visit India and to contract your services. Thanks a lot, it was a perfect journey.

We are back in New Jersey and reflecting on what a wonderful trip we just completed. I want to thank you for your care and efforts to make our India touring excellent.
Our hotel and guide in Mumbai were good. The flight to Goa was on time, and the Godwin hotel was terrific to allow us to go into our room so very early. Not only were their staff excellent, but the Godwin facilities were also excellent. You should know that the dinner at the A'tona following the riverboat trip was great. Our Goa driver was talented and attentive. He added some fun activities to the tour on his own that were very nice. Because our guide was attentive and good, I am not sure whether he or you arranged to have dinner at that beautiful riverside restaurant, but being exactly on the river and having excellent food quality made the evening superb. The Goa riverboat trip was funny because my wife and I were at least 2 or maybe 3 times as old as the rest of the passengers, but it was fun seeing them have so much fun. Our trip to Gokarna had that very sad accident event. We hope that the fellow injured is doing well. The lodging in Gokarna made a major effort to make our room nicer, and after my call to you, all was well. They brought in a second mattress to stack on top of the one in the room, and the 2 mattresses combined to make the bed comfortable. You should know that we have never before complained about a hotel, and I think my wife and I were still upset by the accident. I would recommend that hotel again if they provided the double mattress as they did for us.
Jog Falls was amazing and stunningly beautiful and the Royal Orchid in Shimoga was very nice. Mysore was a beautiful setting excellent and our Guide was terrific and loved being a guide. His knowledge and attitude made him a pleasure to be with. Bangalore was important to visit because of its fame but was probably the least exciting of the entire trip. The Aloft in Coimbatore was an excellent very modern hotel filled with hospitality and good food. They kindly gave us a 3 pm late check out, so my wife relaxed at the hotel while I visited my friend's business. The Cardamon County hotel in Thekkady was also excellent. The Copper Castle in Munnar had a beautiful room view overlooking the valley 300 meters below. I loved that Munnar speed boat ride on the dam created the lake. The White Fort hotel in Cochin was older but clean and its first breakfast was so-so. They had new staff and even getting a cleared table was difficult. However its dinner was excellent, and the second breakfast we had there was much better because, for that meal, they had trained staff. The pool was nice, and we were the only people that used it. The 2 hr. boat trip around the Cochin harbor was terrific and the scenery was elegant. The Alleppey houseboat cruise on the lake was just outstanding. The local tour agent Thomas Mathew made every effort to assure that we would enjoy our night on the houseboat, and we certainly did enjoy it.
I know I called you about the train cabin, but I thought you earlier had called to tell me you had gotten a private cabin. It turned out that the 3 other people in our cabin were there incorrectly, so they left and 2 other people came in to replace them. In all, the experience went very well and our co-cabin mates were all very nice. So my concerns about the cabin were unwarranted. Chennai was very nice - but it is a big city. Our flight from Chennai to Mumbai went well. You might want to know that you will never be able to have a private cabin without other cabin mates. There is a long waiting queue for those cabins - so you did well just to get us the cabin with 2 other cabin mates.
Our driver from Gokarna to Bangalore was excellent and did a wonderful job of showing us both sides of Jog Falls. Our driver (who had the accident) was quite excellent although his English was limited to about 200 words. Yet he was safe and cautious, which was reassuring and I would highly recommend him.
Except for our guide in Cochin, the rest was excellent. Our Cochin guide booked another guide job for the afternoon, and she rushed us through the church, museum, and temple, and was ready to leave us at 11:30. I showed her that she was supposed to be a day, and so she took us to their laundry and that was interesting. But she left us at 12:30 and we were on our own with our driver until the boat ride.
The day after the Munnar boat ride I received your 1500 Rupees back from the driver - the 300 rupees in Gokarna were not there but I have no concern about them. I consider them as part of the cost of the sad accident, and not your problem.
Anyhow - I thought you might find this recap useful from an American point of view. I summarize that the drivers were skilled, safe, and cautious, the events and sites you set up were excellent and lots of fun, and the guides were great, patient, and knowledgeable with the one exception. We loved all hotels, but the Aloft and the Chennai Accord were truly exceptional. The Accord was such a nice way to end our India trip. We swam in their pool 2 times. Thank you for arranging our India-tour; we had great fun.
All was arranged according to our expectations, we are very happy with the personal way your agency handled everything.
Special compliments for our driver; he managed to get us safely through Indian traffic, what’s a challenge according to us Europeans.
We really liked the atmosphere in the lodges; so personal and warm. The personnel there did their utmost to make us at ease.
We also liked the fact that you arranged local guides in the different places; their English was very good en they had so much knowledge of the sight seeings. Very good.
If you are open for ideas for improvement, just a few remarks (which didn’t affect our trip in a negative way but may help you to keep your service as high as it is right now):
The schedule for the safari’s should be less stressfull; it’s not possible to do the last morning safari in location 1 and the afternoon safari in location 2; travelling from location 1 to 2 takes too much time.
The hotel in Agra was very deluxe but so unpersonal and big. It really lacked service.
If guests in future plan safaris in Ranthambore please convince them to pay extra for a jeep instead of a canter. It’s so much more comfortable and the chance of seeing tigers is bigger. We would have never seen the two we spotted when we would have been in the canter as it couldn’t reach the place we saw them.

We arrived safely at home. In Mumbay our family picked us up at the station and also dropped off at the airport.
